Bad: It's bulky and ungainly, and unless you're mighty thirsty, you're not going to need it 99 percent of the time. Although secure, the case is hard to remove. Enthusiastic can openers could splash liquid into the iPhone's headset jack.

Good: The LG Optimus Slider has a spacious keyboard, little to no bloatware, and a responsive touch screen.
Bad: The LG Optimus Slider is bulky, even as a slider phone. Camera quality is poor.
Bottom Line: If you like a real keyboard on a no-contract, reasonably priced handset, the LG Optimus Slider is a good contender. Just remember its low specs and boxy build. [Read more]

Good: The Maingear F131 comes in an attractive, surprisingly roomy chassis, and it posted some of the fastest gaming performance to grace CNET Labs.
Bad: The $3,000 price tag puts this desktop out of reach for all but the most enthusiastic PC gamers.
Bottom Line: Maingear's new F131 hits all the notes I expect from a $3,000 system, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for high-end single-monitor PC gaming. [Read more]
